Megan says: “Eat a cookie that’s worth it. Don’t just eat it to eat. Make your splurges worth it.” During the holidays, the food seems endless. Go into your holiday dinner with a smart mind about your portions.
Fill Up On:
Megan says: “Vegetables!” Vaccaro suggests filling half your plate with greens. Other than veggies, try to eat options that are whole grain and avoid buttery sauces.
Winter Workout Ideas:
Megan says: “push ups, squats, lunges, jumping jacks, and planks.” All these exercises can be done at home if snow and ice keeps you from the gym.
Holiday No No:
Megan says: “Anything white!” Foods that are white usually are high in sugar and carbs. Stick to colorful veggies.
Holiday Super Food:
Megan says: “Sweet potatoes.”
