How did you get involved with Youthful 8 Milania Collection?
I was on Celebrity Apprentice and I was styling my hair everyday. My hair got really dry and damaged from using hot tools. I teamed up with my friend Jerry Sabella and I said to him we need to come out with a product that replenishes my hair and keeps the shine. We did, and that’s how we came out with Youthful 8 Milania Collection. Also, from being on Housewives. My hair was getting damaged.
How do you know Jerry Sabella?
He’s an old friend. He’s been in the hair [industry] for over 20 years.
What separates Youthful 8 Milania Collection from other hair products?
The fans are trying a million products out there. They’re saying [this] is the best product they’ve ever used. It works on all different types of hair. The feedback has been amazing. It makes their hair soft and shiny.
What ingredients are used in the product?
We only use the best ingredients. Avocado oil, truffle oil, Vitamins A, B, C, E, and protein. We use the best [minerals.] It smells great!
What other Housewives and celebrities have used Youthful 8 Milania Collection?
I’ve gotten [good] feedback from other Housewives and Carla Facciolo from Mob Wives loved it. They’ve all given me great feedback.
Was there any jealousy between your daughter Milania and your other daughters? (laughs)
Actually, the product wasn’t named after Milania! I went online and I asked the fans and they all picked Milania. There were so many names out there, but the overall response was Milania!
Do you have any events coming up in Chicago?
No! The last time I was in Chicago I did a fashion event there, and I was there twice for my books.
Describe the three products.
First, there’s the Total Vitamin Leave-In Treatment. You put that in your hair when it’s wet. It adds moisture in your hair. Next is the Keratin Heat Protector. That protects your hair from any hot tools you use. After your hair is dry, you put in the Argan Oil Infusion Serum. We’re currently working on a shampoo and conditioner.
I was flattered. Someone asked Andy Cohen who had the best hair out of all the Housewives, and he said me!
