Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, debuted her Vanity Fair cover on June 1. Once the cover hit the Internet, social media exploded with stories and Tweets. Interestingly enough, Jenner, 65, chose Caitlyn with a “C” and not a “K,” thus separating herself from the Kardashian clan. Jenner did an interview with Diane Sawyer, telling the world about her transition. The Vanity Fair cover will hit stands July 9. Caitlyn will have an E! docu-series premiering in July. What do you think of Jenner’s cover?

I was really curious to follow up on this as soon as the Diane Sawyer interview promos begun playing on TV. I have watched The Kardashians for years and really applaud Bruce Jenner for going through with this, but I still don’t understand why he brings all this media attention upon himself. He was the only “normal” one in the family and would pride himself on living his life away from the glitz and glam of what the camera brought to the Kardashian family. Now I feel like he is becoming one of them. He or (She) is into high fashion, make up, shoes, and everything else the Kardashians are known for. And now with the talks of a reality tv show, he’s just throwing himself into the spotlight that he always avoided. I question his validity and his motives for doing all this. I get he wants to open up the doors for others in a similar situation, but he’s just overdoing this. It’s like he can’t be happy just becoming a woman and living his new life, but now he wants the glam and everything else!
