Since salons are closed at the moment due to the Coronavirus, we have to do our beauty routines at home. Sure, it seems daunting, but being an Emme girl, you can handle anything! Here are some tips as to how to do your own eyebrows at home:
- Make sure you have the best tools and lighting. (Yes, this seems like a no-brainer, but it’s the first, basic step to getting the brows you want!) Find a really good pair of slanted tweezers. Avoid kitchen scissors and stick to brow scissors.
- Don’t over pluck your eyebrows. Only pluck once every two weeks and pluck conservatively. Pluck your unibrow, above and below the brow, and around your temples. Any other plucking will be too much.
- Always tweeze your brows in the direction in which it grows.
- When trimming your eyebrows, do not trim too much. Brush the brow hairs up, and trim the hairs that are the longest. This will prevent brows from looking choppy.
