Clare Crawley’s Season is Currently Filming — With a New Crop of Guys

There’s always going to be a little drama when it comes to The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchise, right? The show is going to finally start filming at La Quinta Resort & Club in California and will air this fall. As Emme Magazine reported this spring, filming for the show was shut down due to COVID-19.

The franchise has re-casted the men for Clare Crawley’s season, and debuted the group of guys on social media.

“There are 42 names total on the list, including 25 brand new suitors and 17 men from the original casting group,” Entertainment Tonight has reported. Of those men, 15 men were cut, including the upcoming Bachelor, Matt James.

According to Reality Steve, the network casted “extra” men just in case some contestants tested positive for COVID-19.

“I’m hearing this season they have way more guys flown out there than will eventually end up on the show, and that’s to have other guys ready to go if any test positive for COVID upon arrival,” Steve said. “But in typical ‘Bachelor’ fashion, it’s not like they’re telling any of the ‘extra’ guys they flew out that they’re basically just a standby person.”

Geez! I think viewers will just have to prepare themselves for all the drama and fun and this fall.
