How to Meet a Real-Life Prince (Seriously!)

by Maryann Pisano on July 27, 2020

Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding seems like a million years ago due to recent events, but it doesn’t mean we’re still not daydreaming about it. Hey, we have a lot of time on our hands! So, how can you meet your very own prince?

  1. Go to a good university

Princes tend to go to very prestigious, fancy universities. Kate Middleton met Prince William at University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Other universities that royalty have attended are University of Cambridge, Georgetown University, Oxford Brookes University and Paris-Sorbonne University.

2. Get involved in “royal”sports

We’ve all seen Prince Harry and Prince William grace the pages of People magazine while playing polo. European sports such as polo, swimming, soccer or tennis will give you more of a chance of meeting a prince. #YesPlease

3. Get involved in humanitarian efforts

Meghan Markle wasn’t just a pretty face on Suits before she met Prince Harry. Meghan was involved in humanitarian efforts and charity work. In 2016, she traveled to Rwanda as a Global Ambassador for World Vision. She was able to see the impact that clean water had on the lives of children in Africa. Doing humanitarian work introduces you to people all over the world and helps make a difference. Besides that, you may even snag a royal in the process, since they are committed to making the world a better place.

4. Work in the media

From movie premieres, to exotic travels, to eating in interesting restaurants, or networking with the right people, working in the media could introduce you to a whole range of people. Making connections and traveling will introduce you to a whole slew of people– maybe even a prince!
